Crew Field Companion

Where you're working, the weather on it, and the nearest hospital — at your fingertips. Nothing you type here leaves your phone.

Where are you working? STEP 1

Pick one — the weather and hospitals below follow the spot you choose.

AMBER Alerts LIVE CHECK

Checking the national alert feed…

Running watch (inspector / foreman / site visitor): this page stays handy. Hear something, share it on the spot — a member keeps the job site pristine. Working hands-on: alerts on, eyes on the work — your watcher has the road. Alerts are area-based — the spot and ZIP you set above decide what is relevant to you.

Official page: NCMEC — active AMBER Alerts. If you see the child or the vehicle: call 911, then 1-800-843-5678.

When You Hear Sirens — the Crew Plan

  1. The lookout — the inspector or foreman — calls it: "SIRENS — CLEAR RIGHT."
  2. Everybody moves right. Tools down, off the road. Trucks pull right — never block a lane, a driveway, or a hydrant.
  3. Leave them a lane a fire truck fits through. Too narrow? Everything comes off the road.
  4. The flagger helps traffic — holds it still, points it clear, never into their path.
  5. Wait for "ALL CLEAR." Units travel in packs.
  6. Back to work in order, after the lookout checks both ways.

Phone setup, once: Government Alerts ON (that's AMBER) — iPhone: Settings → Notifications → bottom of the page. And the lookout runs the free PulsePoint app.
